Andreola winery is located in the heart of the production area of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, Col S. Martino, an old village located between the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. The vines of the winery stretch along the close hills and surround the beautiful landscape through its heights. The territory belonging to the winery is about forty acres and includes steep slopes that can be over 45 degrees. Cantina Andreola’s a viticulture is "heroic", being marked by a passion for painstaking work dictated mainly by manual work. The contribution of technological and mechanical innovation in the achievement of prosecco is very small: here viticulture is encouraged by the Pola family for a so-called mountain culture. While the origins of the winery dates back to the work of the father Nazareno, the development and the success is due to the son Stefano: the love for the world of prosecco, the terroir of Valdobbiadene embrace the particular environmental conditions of its location. Thanks to erosions that characterized the geological past of the area, the soil is enriched with balanced physical and chemical elements that are found in the vines; on the other hand, they grow in the context of a severe microclimate, marked by strong temperature and an ever-present humidity. On the irregular slopes native and ancient vines arise, dominating the Glera and finding in a smaller amount the varieties of Verdiso, Perera and Bianchetta. These prosecco has such a fascinating aromatic complexity and the high quality symbolizes the hard work and passion of the winery.
