Lambrusco di Sorbara & Lambrusco Salamino
Winemakers Comments
This is high quality Lambrusco in an "Amabile" style which is slightly off-dry. Dark red berries, plum and zesty cola notes on a refreshing, fuller bodied and tangy finish. This wine has good fizz and should be served chilled.

Winery
The Cantina di Carpi e Sorbara is a Cooperative with 1,200 producer members which has a production capacity of approximately 450,000 hectoliters of wine per year. The winery currently has 6 plants, including 5 for crushing and 1 for bottling: Carpi (Mo), Concordia (Mo), Poggio Rusco (Mn), Rio Saliceto (Re), Sorbara (Mo), Bazzano (BO) .
The wine production is centered on Lambrusco: Sorbara, Salamino, Maestri, Marani, Viadanese and on Pignoletto, but an important part of the company's success, especially as regards the bulk wine, is also linked to the so-called Red Wine which is obtained from Ancellotta grapes.
