A typical Bordeaux white, richly textured, well balanced and refreshing. The Sauvignon blanc delivers elegant passionfruit freshness which is laced together by the richness and weight of the Semillon grape.

Vineyard
Well-drained and lightly-structured Clovelly and Avalon 100% Dry-land management. Semillon vines are planted 1.4m apart to avoid density as both Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon can be vigorous in growers. Intensive leaf and shoot management in October allows for even ripeness and enables shade for fruit concentration development.

Winery
GlenWood is a family owned boutique winery located in an area of outstanding natural beauty very close to Franschhoek.
The winery has been developed over the last thirty three years to become a leading South African wine producer and all their wines are made from grapes produced on their land, thereby reflecting the unique terroir of their small valley. The wines are uniformly and consistently highly rated by wine judges and have received numerous awards and prestigious listings.
As part of their commitment to protecting the environment, they have dedicated ten hectares to the regeneration of indigenous Cape fynbos and use only environmentally-friendly farming practices. Their accreditation by WIETA attests to the seriousness with which they view the development of their people as a key ingredient of their success. On the wider front, they are heavily involved in a number of projects within the Franschhoek community, most notably “Bhabhathane”, whose objective is to transform education in the Franschhoek valley.
