Wine Composition
77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc & 7% Merlot
Winemakers Comments
Ripe dark fruit, graphite, cassis, a subtle herbaceousness, nuances of blueberry and thyme backed with hints of cedarwood and pencil shavings on the nose. Soft, voluptuous integrated tannins with a rich creamy cassis freshness. Silky smooth mid-palate with a finish that is full of dark fruit and long lingering flavors. Great tension!

Located in the top, southern-most corner of the Franschhoek Valley, in the embrace of its spectacular mountains, the 22 hectares Holden Manz Wine Estate is situated between the Franschhoek River and Stony Brook at 300 meters above sea level.
