Winemakers Comments
A complex wine showing concentrated cassis, blackberry and pencil shavings with sweet spice aromas of licorice, cinnamon and allspice. The wine opens up to more earthy notes that follow through to a dense palate with cassis, plum and black cherry. The wine has a firm tannin that will allow the wine to develop well over the next decade.
